Follow-Up Review from September 2021
by Dougals on 2/26/2026 10:58:38 PM
My 2018 XTS Luxury now has 71,000 miles on it, up from 27,000. I have raised its grade from 3 to 4 stars, as some of my fears expressed last time have not materialized. The only additional problem has been the CUE screen losing responsiveness requiring replacement. Again lucky - it happened with 100 miles remaining under warranty. The car still makes that pinging-like sound, but I believe it is the ac compressor and not the engine. I'm living with the noise which is not really intrusive. I replaced the tires at around 45,000 miles and have yet to replace the brakes, which I think is remarkable for a 2+ ton sedan. The car still looks sharp, and rides as nicely as it ever did. Overall a good value given what I paid. I can't believe Caddy no longer makes full sized sedans, and I also can't believe how costly their other offerings are now. I may just wind up keeping the car another bunch of years. - 5.0
Beautiful car

Very luxurious inside, spacious seating for 4 adults, small 3rd row but I have it folded down for cargo room which is very generous. Quiet, smooth ride and stunning color—midnight sky metallic. V6 plenty of power. - 5.0
Loved it

Wonderful car. I have zero complaints ! ❤️ 😍 Styling, interior, everything on it..wow..I always was told how good looking my car was. The only issue was a deer hit it and insurance totaled my XTS 😢 😭 I only had to replace the shocks at around 80k and Intergrity Cadallic did a superb job. It was pricey but the smooth ride I wanted back. Plus the infotainment screen was cracked and for 50 dollars Cadallic replaced because this was an issue for this vehicle. I 😍 🥰 loved the car. If I was at a better financial place I would buy another 1 in a minute. I brought mine with about 75k miles on it
