Instead of the 2023 Ford Escape SE, you'll see it referred to as the 2023 Ford Escape Base. Base is the introductory trim and sets the stage for the trims to come. Like the Base, the 2023 Ford Escape SEL is out, and the 2023 Ford Escape Active is in.
