Job Responsibilities

•  Gain in-depth knowledge of Ford vehicles and differentiate them to existing and potential customers
•  Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options
•  Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features
•  Complete quotes, return email/voicemail, other administrative functions to include running credit applications and processing transaction paperwork
•  Support on-line customers through our sales office
•  Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales

•  Must have at least 2-5 years prior experience as a sales representative in either automotive sales, inside sales, outside sales, retail sales or telemarketing sales
•  Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person")
•  Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency
•  Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills
•  Must possess the ability to "close"

Service & Collision Repair Technicians

AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Description:
Tom Wood Ford is in need of experienced service technicians for our used car inventory, responsible for performing vehicle repair work as assigned. Domestic and import car line experience a plus! Our team is one of the leading customer satisfaction dealers in the nation!

responsibilties:

1. perform work assigned within a reasonable time and quality in accordance with factory and dealership standards.

2. perform work as outlined on repair orders.

3. attend all factory-sponsored training classes and scheduled service meetings.

4. familiarize self with all technical bulletins as handed down by the factory.

5. communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts to complete tasks.

6. document work performed.

7. communicate with service advisor, parts department and customers as needed.

8. keep car clean while working on it.

9. keep equipment and work stall clean and neat.

Requirements

APPLICANT MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED AND HAVE BASIC AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SKILLS. EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS WITH CLEAR, LEGIBLE HANDWRITING. MUST HAVE A CLEAN, WELL GROOMED AND PROFESSIONAL APPEARANCE AND AN ENTHUSIASTIC ATTITUDE AT ALL TIMES. VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH A GOOD DRIVING HISTORY.

High School diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

This is a physically demanding position. Will stand for several hours each shift. Some duties may be performed outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Manual dexterity is required. Tugging, pulling, pushing, and climbing are physical requirements of this position. Will be exposed to noise, dust, vibration, exhaust fumes, cleaning solvents, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. May also be required to road test vehicles. Excellent verbal, written and computer communication skills, with clear, legible handwriting. Above average math ability. Must have a clean, well-groomed and professional appearance and an enthusiastic attitude at all times. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Position requires driving manual and automatic transmissions.
