Artist Offers Mustang 50th Anniversary Collectible Sculpture

For many fans of automotive design, the vintage Ford Mustang has long been considered a rolling work of art. Now, the iconic pony car has become a piece of fine art. As part of the 50 years of Mustang celebrations, U.K.-based artist Robin Bark has been licensed by Ford Motor Company to turn the Mustang into a limited-edition collectible sculpture.

Bark is well versed in the arts, with experience in industrial design, graphic design ceramics and metalwork. He frequently blends his passion for automobiles with his love of art. "I think I was drawing cars the moment I…

2015 Ford F-150 Features LED Lighting

Until now, headlamps often needed to be replaced long before the end of a vehicle’s life. For the all-new 2015 Ford F-150, Ford wanted durable headlamps that would last as long, or longer, than the truck. Ford lighting expert John Teodecki and his team found the answer in technology they believe could change truck lighting forever – light-emitting diodes, or LEDs.

No other light-duty pickup truck on the road today has LED headlamps. LED lamps use 63 percent less energy than the halogen bulbs seen in competitor trucks, and the light quality and aesthetics of the technology are superior, Teodecki…

Kudos for Tom Wood Ford

We love what we do here at Tom Wood Ford, and we often find that our customers love us back! Here are a few very kind things they've had to say about us. The Piarowski family even sent us a 'thank you' card and snapshots of their vacation!

“You were like a godsend to us in our hour of need. Our radiator blew out at the start of our vacation quite a way from home. We didn’t know what we were going to do when we saw the ‘FORD’ sign and that you were open. They took us…

Ford's Camo Team Kept 2015 Mustang Under Wraps

In the months leading up to the global reveal of the all-new Ford Mustang in early December, debating the exact shape of the car was one of the hottest topics for fans on the Internet. Helping fuel their speculation – while enabling the Mustang development team to log tens of thousands of test miles on public roads this past summer and fall without revealing the car’s shape – was the job of the camouflage team from Ford design and engineering.

Getting an early look at highly anticipated new cars like Mustang is a cat and mouse game between automakers and a…
